The Bernoulli Society invites expressions of interest for hosting the Bernoulli Society World Congress in 2008. The World Congress is held jointly with the Institute of Mathematical Statistics (IMS), which has its annual meeting with us in that year. It is held every four years. The Bernoulli Society takes the lead in determining the venues of World Congresses, in the sense that we seek expressions of interest, and then approaches the IMS and consult. We can provide interested parties with information about previous World Congresses, if they are interested. Please contact me at ddawson@math.carleton.ca .
