The XXIX Brazilian School of Probability will be held at Centro Brasileiro de Pesquisas Físicas - CBPF, Urca, Rio de Janeiro. It is a long-standing international event that has been held annually since its inception in 1997. It serves as a prominent forum for the exchange of ideas among researchers and students from Brazil and abroad, fostering scholarly interaction and the dissemination of knowledge within the probability community.

Recognized for its high scientific standards, the EBP regularly features lectures and presentations by some of the most prominent figures in the field of probability. In accordance with tradition, this edition of the EBP will span five days of academic activities, including two minicourses, eight plenary lectures, several contributed talks, and poster sessions.

This edition of the EBP will honor Professor Maria Eulália Vares and celebrate her career spanning more than 40 years, during which she has stood out as one of the leaders of our community and has made invaluable and essential contributions to the development of Probability in Brazil and to its international recognition.
